New: Platform tags in Drive and Settings

What's new

Platform tags are now available for organizations with the feature enabled. You can manage a shared tag catalog in Settings, then assign tags to Drive files and folders.

You can now

• Create, rename, and remove organization tags from Settings
• Assign and remove tags on Drive files and folders
• Filter Drive by one or more tags
• View host tags read-only on shared projects

Notes

Tags are advisory labels and do not replace permissions or policy controls.
